In our hearts, Lest We Forget.

Once a field of dreams,
Once a field of life,
Once a field of death.
Now a field, a field of red.
The poppys grow on Flanders field.
It's beautiful red gets blown in a gentle breeze.
It's colour so full of life, it almost glows.
A flower so small, yet with a meaning so big.
A war we faught under the ruling of the King.
As we represented the Union Jack,
and faught so hard; with no looking back.
Soldiers left their homes on an adventure around the world.
Some came back to share their tales.
Though many did not. Lest We Forget.
Australians, Kiwis; we faught side by side.
April 25, we shall remember this day.
ANZAC day; to remember those who died.
We wear a poppy, a symbol of rememberance.
A tradition that will always live on through the length of time.
In our hearts, Lest We Forget.
