For Darkness Is Just A Tale

In a tame winter you found me,
Wearing a crown of stars.
I want to swim in your eyes,
Before the night swallows me whole.

Your heart scented with wonderlust,
Burning off clouds of uncertainty.
Please make me feel like an ocean,
An ocean that kisses the sun.

For darkness is just a tale,
Told by men with swords.
Fighting battles with words of torture,
With shadows and scars on their chest.

A world so cruel by nature,
But your beauty has coloured me whole.
With a gentle glance you kissed me,
What a wonderful day to die.
