Oh We Don't Know

Hold my hand and guide me,
To where the river rushes quick.
Sit and watch my soul run free,
And dance wild with the current.

Kiss my lips and show me,
Where the sun will greet us first.
Unravel my mind and all its motives,
And see the seasons shiver inside me.

Bury me in the soil so fertile,
Where the trees grow upside down.
Take my heart and take my lungs,
And plant them as dreams by my side.

Whisper in my ear and teach me,
About the moon who glows so elegant and bold.
Don't let our insecurities be strangers,
And drift us further from the path.

Be the wind, and I'll be the sails,
As we caress the salt of the oceans.
With our glowing hearts steering the ship,
To a destination, oh we don't know.
